## acceptance

By adding Grok for Discord to your account or server, or by interacting with it in any channel, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, remove the app and stop using it.

You must also comply with Discord's terms of service and community guidelines while using the app. Nothing here overrides them.

## the service

Grok for Discord is an unofficial, independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to X Corp., xAI, or Discord Inc. in any way. "Grok" is used to describe the underlying model the app talks to, not to claim any official status.

The app answers questions, fact-checks messages, searches the live web, reads shared files, and generates or edits images inside Discord. It does this on demand, when you mention it, reply to it, right-click a message, or run one of its commands.

The service is in beta and provided as-is. Features may break, change, or disappear without notice, and availability is not guaranteed.

## eligibility

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country (13 or older in most places) to use the app. If you are not old enough to use Discord, you are not allowed to use this app either.

## acceptable use

Do not use the app to break Discord's terms of service or developer policies, harass or harm people, generate illegal content, spread targeted misinformation, or attempt to bypass the app's safety measures.

Do not spam the app, attempt to disrupt or overload it, probe or reverse engineer its infrastructure, or resell access to it.

We may rate-limit, restrict, or permanently revoke access for any user or server at any time, with or without notice, especially where these terms are being broken.

## ai-generated content

Answers, fact-checks, and images are generated by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or biased. Fact-checks are best-effort research aids, not authoritative rulings, verify anything important yourself.

You are responsible for how you use content the app generates. Do not present its output as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise), and do not rely on it where accuracy is critical.

## premium

A paid tier may be offered in the future. If it launches, its own terms (pricing, billing, refunds) will be published before anything is charged. Nothing is charged today.

## termination

You can stop using the app at any time by removing it from your account or server. We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.

## disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including anything the model says, gets wrong, or generates.

## changes

These terms may change as the project evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page, continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
